Izzy Lundgren-Clark, LPC, EMDR Trained

(She/Her)

Therapy for adults and couples seeking deeper healing, safety, and connection.

I work with adult individuals and couples who hold diverse identities and backgrounds and are interested in long-term, depth-oriented therapy. Many of the people I work with are carrying the impact of trauma, attachment wounds, or relationship struggles—and are ready to feel safer in their bodies and more secure in their relationships.

Specialities:

  • EMDR Trained
  • Trauma
  • Attachment wounds
  • Sex and intimacy concerns
  • Relationship concerns

What to Expect

I follow your lead in sessions, inviting you to bring in whatever feels most important that day. If it’s helpful, I’ll offer reminders of themes we’ve been working on or gently name areas that may be waiting to be explored. Even with EMDR work, I’m flexible—if talk therapy is what’s most clinically appropriate that day, we’ll pivot. The first session is a bit more structured, focusing on your concerns, history, and goals, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative. I rarely assign homework, but I often share resources or key takeaways from sessions to reflect on between appointments.

We Might Be a Fit If You’re Hoping To…

  • Feel more regulated and safe in your body, rather than stuck in survival mode
  • Heal from trauma or attachment wounds that continue to affect relationships
  • Build more secure, fulfilling connections—with yourself and with others

A Little About Me

I became a therapist because I’m passionate about helping people cultivate healthy, fulfilling relationships with themselves and others. I believe everyone deserves to feel safe in their bodies despite their past traumas. My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and attachment-based therapy, and I’m trained in EMDR, IFS Foundations, and Gottman Level One Couples Counseling. I am a queer-identifying, Latina therapist, and I value providing affirming, culturally responsive care.

I live in the city with my wife and our two golden retrievers, Theo and Benny. I earned both my BA and MA from Northwestern University. I consider myself a hobbyist at Olympic lifting as it has been a great way for me to heal my own nervous system, while also pushing me outside my comfort zone. If you’re looking for long-term, relational therapy focused on healing and connection, I’d love to work with you.

I may not be the best fit for short-term, solution-focused therapy (outside of EMDR), CBT-focused work, or concerns related to substance use or OCD.

If you’re looking for long-term, relational therapy focused on healing and connection, I’d love to work with you.
