Danielle Loeger, Clinical Intern

(She/Her)

Therapy for women who feel anxious, stuck in their heads, or unsure how to trust themselves.

I most often work with young and middle-aged women navigating anxiety, overthinking, relationship stress, people-pleasing, grief, and life transitions. Many of my clients appear “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to set boundaries without guilt.

Specialties:

  • Anxiety and overthinking
  • People-pleasing and boundaries
  • Perfectionism and high self-expectations
  • Relationship stress and emotional shutdown
  • Self-trust and self-esteem

What to Expect

Sessions begin with a check-in about what’s felt most present since we last met. We’ll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, then work toward small, realistic changes that add up over time. I integrate emotional processing with practical takeaways so therapy feels meaningful both in and outside the room.

In the first session, we’ll focus on what brought you to therapy, clarify goals, explore relevant history, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. When helpful, I may offer between-session practices like journaling prompts, boundary experiments, or emotion-regulation tools—always collaborative and manageable.

We Might Be a Fit If You Feel…

  • “I don’t know how to say no without feeling guilty.”
  • “I feel anxious all the time but don’t know why.”
  • “I’m stuck in my head and second-guessing myself constantly.”

A Little About Me

I became a therapist because I’ve always loved connecting with people and helping them understand themselves more deeply. I’m curious about how we think, feel, and behave—and how insight can translate into real, everyday change. Outside of therapy, I’m a yoga teacher, have attended a yoga retreat in Bali, and love spending time with friends and family. One grounding tool I often recommend is simple box breathing—it’s always accessible and incredibly effective for calming the nervous system.

I may not be the best fit for active substance dependence, severe eating disorders, suicidal behavior, or personality disorders.

If you’re ready to quiet the mental noise, strengthen your boundaries, and feel more confident navigating your life and relationships, I’d be honored to support you.
