Therapy for older teens and adults navigating self-doubt, stress, and life transitions

I work with clients from late adolescence through adulthood, including people who are single, partnered, married, or divorced. Many of the individuals I support find themselves struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, or feeling stuck—often wondering why life doesn’t look or feel the way they expected it to at this stage.

What To Expect

My style is approachable, warm, respectful, and curious. Clients often tell me sessions feel non-judgmental and safe. I aim to create a space that feels conversational rather than clinical, where you can show up as you are. I balance validation with gentle challenge, always prioritizing trust first—because growth often involves some discomfort, and that’s easier to face when you feel supported.

Sessions are grounded, collaborative, and free of judgment. I take time to understand what’s happening in your life and what patterns may be contributing to stress, avoidance, or self-criticism. The first session focuses on getting to know you at your pace—your experiences, what’s bringing you in, and what you hope to work toward—without pressure to dive too deep right away. Together, we’ll clarify goals that feel meaningful and realistic.

We Might Be a Fit If You Feel…

  • “I have a hard time saying no.”

  • “I just want to feel happy again.”

  • “I thought life would be different by now.”

A Little About Me

I believe growth comes from learning how to stay present when things feel emotionally hard—building the capacity to bend, not break. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help create space for uncomfortable emotions; and a person-centered, humanistic approach that emphasizes feeling understood and valued. With a background in social work, I approach therapy through a contextual lens—considering family, culture, relationships, stressors, and community.

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a life with purpose and clarity. Outside of work, I’m married with two kids (one teenager and one young adult), love sunshine and gardening, enjoy music, and play pickleball—sometimes twice in one day. If you’re ready to build self-compassion, reduce stress, and move forward with more intention, I’d be glad to work with you.

*I may not be the best fit for clients seeking support for gender identity transitions, chemical dependency, or eating disorders.

If you’re ready to feel less overwhelmed, better understand your emotions, and create a life that feels more meaningful and aligned, I’d be glad to work with you.
