Therapy for Teens, College Students, and Young Adults Navigating Anxiety, Self-Esteem, and Life Transitions

I work with teenagers, college students, and young adults who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity exploration, grief, body image concerns, and the many transitions that come with growing into adulthood. Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed by self-doubt, stuck in overthinking, or unsure how to move forward with confidence.

Specialties:

  • Perfectionism
  • Intrusive Thoughts
  • Relationship Concerns (both romantic and platonic)
  • Self-esteem
  • Body Image

What To Expect

My style is warm, authentic, gentle, compassionate, and calm. Clients often describe therapy as a supportive space where they can be themselves without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling truly understood, while also gently exploring new perspectives, recognizing patterns, and building on the strengths you already have.

Together we’ll process your experiences, identify meaningful patterns, and work toward practical insights that support your goals. I check in throughout our conversations, summarize key themes, and end each session by reflecting on takeaways and planning next steps.

When it feels helpful, I’ll offer between-session practices like journaling, mindfulness exercises, grounding techniques, or practical DBT skills to help reinforce what we’re working on together.

We Might Be a Fit If You Feel…

  • “I overthink everything and can’t stop worrying about what other people think of me.”
  • “I feel like I’m never good enough, no matter how hard I try.”
  • “When I start feeling overwhelmed or sad, I find myself spiraling and don’t know how to get out of it.”

About Me

I believe every person has the capacity for meaningful change when they approach themselves with self-compassion, intention, and a willingness to grow. My work is grounded in person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building confidence and resilience. I have training in Psychological First Aid, sexuality counseling, and chemical dependency, and I enjoy supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, college-aged, and emerging adult communities.

became a therapist because I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Outside of therapy, you’ll usually find me trying new restaurants around Chicago, listening to podcasts, or training for my first 70.3 Half Ironman triathlon.

If you’re ready to quiet the self-doubt, build confidence, and create a life that feels more authentic and grounded, I’d be honored to support you on that journey.
