Therapy for Adults Navigating Anxiety, Relationships, Identity, and Life Transitions

I work with older adolescents and young adults who are curious about the roots of their anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns. Many of the people I support are navigating identity development, friendships, family dynamics, perfectionism, and major life transitions while trying to better understand themselves and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

What to Expect

I believe meaningful growth comes from a balance of compassion and accountability, so while I’ll always honor your experience, I’ll also gently challenge perspectives or patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Sessions with me are collaborative and primarily open-ended, allowing space for what feels most important to you while still keeping your goals in mind. We’ll check in on how you’ve been feeling, explore themes and patterns that emerge, and work toward greater self-awareness and insight. Depending on your needs, I may offer observations, reflections, practical strategies, or gentle challenges to support growth and change.

We May Be a Good Fit If You Feel

  • “I keep ending up in the same types of relationships and don’t understand why.”
  • “I know where some of my struggles come from, but I don’t know how to actually move forward.”
  • “I spend so much time worrying about everyone else that I’ve lost sight of what I need.”

A Little About Me

I believe every person has the capacity for growth and change, and that healing looks different for everyone. My role is to walk alongside you as you build greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges. My approach draws primarily from psychodynamic, person-centered, and existential therapies, helping clients better understand the patterns that shape their lives while exploring questions of identity, purpose, and meaning.

Before pursuing counseling, I studied health sciences and dietetics and spent years working in healthcare. I am currently completing my Master’s in Counseling at Northwestern University. As a first-generation American with Turkish roots, I bring personal understanding of cultural identity, family expectations, and navigating multiple worlds. I also have a long-standing yoga and meditation practice that informs my appreciation for the mind-body connection in healing and growth.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy making music, practicing yoga, spending time with my partner, dog, and cat, and exploring Chicago after recently relocating from Florida.

If you’re ready to better understand yourself, break free from old patterns, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are, I’d be honored to support you in that journey.
