Hannah Heitz, LCPC, Clinical Supervisor

(She/Her)

Therapy for adults and couples navigating anxiety, relationships, and neurodivergent challenges.

I work with adults and couples seeking support around relationship concerns, neurodivergent experiences, body image, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in thought spirals, overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, or unsure how to regulate emotions when stress builds. I’m especially well-suited for clients who want a therapist who can truly meet them where they are and create a safe space for vulnerability and real conversation.

Specialties:

  • Couples counseling, including communication issues, intimacy challenges and pre-marital counseling
  • ADHD and neurodiversity
  • Body image
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • Emotional regulation during times of extreme stress and anxiety

What To Expect

My style is inviting, warm, relaxed, and fun. Clients often say sessions feel like a helpful space to process difficult thoughts—sometimes alongside lighter moments, like talking about what we’re watching or reading. I take a client-driven, open-minded approach, adapting structure and skills to what actually feels useful for you. I focus on validating your experience while also offering gentle challenge and solution-focused strategies that support real change, at a pace that feels right.

Sessions typically begin with settling in and a simple check-in like, “What’s on your mind today?” Through conversation, I’ll notice patterns or feelings that may need space and guide us there together. We end by identifying takeaways and helping you transition smoothly back into your day. In the first session, I’ll ask, “Why therapy? Why now?” so you can share your story, and I’ll also explain my style so you know who you’re opening up to.

We Might Be a Fit If You Feel…

  • “My thoughts spiral until I feel overwhelmed or emotionally flooded.”

  • “I want tools to help regulate my emotions and talk things through.”

  • “You want therapy that feels supportive, human, and adaptable to you.”

A Little About Me

My edge is my bubbly, positive energy paired with the ability to match your pace and vibe—without forcing positivity when it’s not helpful. I’m trained in neurodivergent-affirming care, couples counseling, and currently completing IFS training. I work with neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, poly/open, faith-based and non-faith-based clients. Sessions are in English.

I became a therapist because I love understanding people and helping them understand themselves. Outside of therapy, I’m a dog owner, sunshine lover, avid reader, and pop culture enthusiast—and yes, I’ll ask what you’re watching or reading. If you’re looking for a therapy space that feels safe, human, and supportive—where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and build tools that actually help—I’d love to work with you.

*I’m not the best fit for addiction/substance misuse concerns or high-conflict couples.

If you’re ready to feel more confident in yourself, your body, and your relationships, I’d be glad to work with you.
