Truly feeling our feelings isn’t easy. It can be uncomfortable and messy, and sometimes it seems safer to pack it all away. But feelings tell a story, and your story deserves to be heard. I know how vulnerable it can be to start this process; I also know how rewarding it is. Owning and sharing our stories is a powerful tool and often the root of healing. Whatever brings you to this space is valid, and your feelings are too.
Whether you’re in an especially challenging season or ready to explore more deeply rooted issues, I am here to support you. I believe this is a collaborative effort; you can expect a personalized, holistic and very human approach to unpacking feelings,
vulnerabilities and your strengths too. Our work together is without judgment; my goal is to listen, but more importantly, to be a sounding board as you identify your values and reach your goals. Taking this time just for you is a commitment, but it is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
For more than a decade, I built my career in the infertility field as a case manager for egg donation and surrogacy. A background in journalism has given me the platform for advocacy in reproductive, postpartum, and general mental health issues. Now, with two young children of my own, I have a profound respect for the journey that is motherhood. It is my most treasured role, and also the most challenging! I’m an avid reader, and writing is a passion – articles, blogs, journaling (a big part of my own mental health toolbox), truly anything that keeps the creativity flowing. While I love cozy movie and games nights with my family, we also love to travel and share new adventures together.
I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, as well as a BA in Journalism. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a member of the American Counseling Association, and I look forward to completing my Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
