First Things First

I believe therapy should be a safe place where you can bring your full, authentic self without fear of judgment. My hope for every client is that together we’ll uncover what’s really at the root of your discomfort and create a path forward that feels true to you. Our work will focus on helping you build the confidence and clarity to navigate daily life with more ease, purpose, and self-trust.What To Expect From Our Work Together

What To Expect From Our Work Together

My approach is collaborative and grounded in authenticity. We’ll sit side by side to explore what’s getting in the way and identify small, meaningful steps that bring you closer to the life you want. Sometimes that looks like unpacking old patterns, other times it’s practicing new ways of responding, or simply having space to be fully honest. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you as we build clarity, confidence, and momentum together. Over time, this process can help you feel less stuck and more equipped to meet challenges with resilience and self-compassion.

What You Need to Know About Me

I’m a counselor-in-training at Northwestern University, where I’m pursuing my master’s in counseling. Outside of the classroom, I feel most like myself hiking and spending time in the mountains—being outdoors keeps me grounded. I also love to cook, and some of my favorite moments are around a meal table—sharing stories that are sometimes silly, sometimes deep, and always better with people we care about.

I enjoy listening as much as I do talking, and over the years I’ve learned how to be fully present with clients—listening intently and compassionately so that together we can move toward what matters most to them. I also wrote Building Your Team in Your 20s, a book about how authenticity and vulnerability help us grow, which is the same spirit I bring into my work as a counselor.
